
Meet the Principal
Amanda Anderson, Principal
Amanda Anderson is grateful to back at Oak Hill as assistant principal. Mrs. Anderson has over 20 years in St. Cloud Area School District. Prior to this position, she was a kindergarten and second grade teacher at Oak Hill, lead talent development specialist and the assistant principal. Anderson is passionate about helping students recognize and develop their individual strengths.
She graduated from St. Cloud State University, where she earned a bachelor of science in elementary education with an emphasis in science. She then attended St. Mary’s University, where she earned master’s degrees in Teaching and Learning and K-12 Educational Leadership.
Anderson is a St. Cloud resident, where she lives with her husband and three children. She loves to spend time at the lake, traveling, gardening and playing outside.
Building strong relationships is her priority, and she looks forward to working alongside all members of Oak Hill to create successful outcomes for all students.
Irene Wilcox, Assistant Principal
Irene Wilcox is thankful for the opportunity to serve as the assistant principal of Oak Hill Community School. Wilcox works daily to foster strong relationships with students, staff and families. She is dedicated to promoting communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and the development of social-emotional skills to ensure that every student can thrive and achieve their goals.
Wilcox completed her undergraduate studies at St. Cloud State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on science. Subsequently, she pursued a master's degree in science education at the University of Montana, Bozeman. Additionally, she acquired a gifted and talented certificate and K-12 Principal Licensure from St. Mary’s University. She has cherished every aspect of her educational career, having served as a middle school science teacher, reading interventionist, gifted and talented coordinator and academic coach.
Wilcox considers it a privilege to be part of the District 742 community. Her husband is an educator at Kennedy Community School, and her two daughters are students at Tech High School. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and appreciating the outdoors.
